How to Make Coffee ice cream

Coffee ice cream dishes

 

Every day, before we left for work. Usually we drink coffee first. But it would not hurt as well when we tried to experiment with coffee. For example by combining coffee with ice cream.

Coffee ice cream Ingredients :

300ml carton thickened cream
500ml carton (2 cups) vanilla custard
385g can Coffee & Milk (see note)
Shaved chocolate, to serve

How to make Coffee ice cream

1. Using an electric mixer, beat cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Add custard and coffee mix. Using a large metal spoon, stir until combined.
2. Pour into a 1.25 litre (5-cup capacity) container. Cover. Freeze overnight. Serve scoops sprinkled with chocolate shavings.

Note : Coffee & Milk is a liquid drink mix sold in a can. Look for it with the instant coffee in your supermarket.
